How to Get Work Done Faster in Your Photography Business

There are several tips that according to Brandon Oda that allow you to grow your photography business a lot faster.

Smaller sessions

The first tip is to offer your clients mini sessions. These sessions are going to be about 30 minutes long and are going to cost about a hundred dollars. Since these sessions are going to be shorter, they are going to be a lot less expensive than the regular sessions. This means that not only are you going to be able to maximize your time, but you will also be able to maximize your client base.

Discounts

The second tip is to offer the clients discounts if they order a lot of photos from you or if they do a lot of sessions with you. This is going to increase the chances of you being able to sell a lot more of your products. A lot of photographers are going to offer their clients a 10 percent off discount if they order a certain number of prints from them or you could give them a discounted rate if they have booked a session for more than four times with a one-year time frame.

Stock photography

The third tip is to consider doing stock photography. This is going to be photos that you are going to take that you will be able to sell on different websites. This is going to be very easy to do and you will be able to make a lot of money this way. There are also some websites that will allow you to license your photos. Even though they are only going to be a few cents to a dollar for the photos, you can put them on a variety of different websites to help you make more money.

Charity

The fourth tip is to do a shoot for free or for a cause. A lot of people are going to see this as a waste of time since you are not going to be making any money, but this is one of the best ways that you will be able to network your photography business. You will be able to gain a lot of exposure and the community is going to see all of the work that you can do. It is important to make sure that your watermark is on the photos and you should be tagged in the Facebook photos.

Prints

The fifth tip is to sell your prints on a large scale or even offer your clients the more unique materials. This is going to be especially true if you are going to be doing wedding photos. You can offer the happy couple a canvas print that they are going to be able to proudly display in their home. Even though this is going to be a little more expensive than the traditional prints, the couple is going to be more willing to pay this price for something that they will be able to cherish for years.

Referrals

The sixth tips is to start a referral program. This means that you are going to be offering all of your clients a discount if they have referred anyone to use you as their photographer. There are two main things that this is going to be able to do for your business. The first thing is that the clients are going to be more likely to use you again since they are going to get a discount. The second thing is that is going to bring out on the potential to get more clients according to Brandon Oda.
